Hmm, that may be the case, though from their website, it seems that they usually get back to people by the beginning of March. I guess no one who applied last year is on here...

Hey all, I just looked on the University of Chicago site and it says that "As a general rule, students apply in December for admission to school the following autumn quarter. Applications are considered by the Committee on Admissions and Aid in January and February, with letters of acceptance and decline as well as financial aid offers being mailed at the beginning of March. The application period is currently open; click here for more information." With that said, I was wondering when folks who applied to the A.M. or A.M.R.S. program heard back last year? I'm going to be in Chicago on the weekend of the 15th, and I'd like to plan a trip if I get in; I'd feel very silly if I visited the school and got rejected that evening.

I noticed that there was a forum for last year's class of MTS/MDiv/Th.D folks but not one for folks applying this year. Is anyone else in the utter agony of suspense right now?

I'm finishing my final year at CUNY in Religious Studies, and I'd eventually like to go into a Early Christian/New Testament Ph.D program. I know that I have to get an MA first (especially since I have no knowledge of Greek or Latin). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for programs that it might make sense for me to apply to? Thanks!
