I am confused about my UNC BBSP application. They received all the required things (Form,Fees,Test scores and recommendation letters) but still shows incomplete :/ Do you guys have any idea why ? Should i send them email asking about it?

Do they review the applications of international students later? When do they send the last invites for interview?

You gave a very good advice. Now that I think about it, everything makes more sense.I am a bit insecure because of my GRE scores and lack of published work. I would retake the test but there is no dates available in my country for the next 3 months.That is the reason I was thinking about safety schools. But I really want to get into the Baylor,UNC chapel Hill or Uni of Virginia. I saw some stats and thought those are out of my league but still decided to apply just in case I get a chance to face the interview.I was discouraged and started to have second thoughts after my pre app for Uni of Illinois at Urbana and Uni of Texas A&M got rejected. I am applying to the Molecular and Human genetics of Baylor and Biochem & cell bio of Rice Uni.What do you think about my overall list?

Hi guyz Thanks for your encouragement and replies about applying to UNC Chapel Hill. I have decided to try my luck with this one!! Now I have another dilemma. I am already applying to 11 grad schools and trying to select another one. Should I go for a high rank school like Duke or some low rank school? I have already applied to some mid and low rank schools to use as a safety blanket. I am a lil bit confused about UNC chapel hill.I mailed a prof and he told me to apply and said if I go for interview,he will discuss how I can work in his lab.But I know the GRE requirement is quite high for this school. And my score isnt that good.What should I do?help me out.Also suggest me some uni where I can apply considering my profile.Thanks
