Now I've passed my exams and am just reading books for my dissertation at my leisure, this feeling of "I'm getting paid to read!" is really coming back

Ph.D. Candidate!!!!!  Never, ever, ever again will I take exams.  Holy shit.  Who wants to go through that twice?  Oh wait, I went through the oral exam twice... but never want to do the whole process again.

Almost there. So... done with the exam studying.

Lesson Learn: Studying for the GREs are a cake walk compared to studying for comprehensive exams.

Moved into my new town... new chapter of my life is about to begin THANK GOD!

Finally, after 3 cycles, I am at peace. You know you have the right adviser when s/he can truly put a smile on your face.
