Did anyone apply to UC-Irvine? They have been consistently sending out invites around the 15th, but I haven't heard/seen anything from them yet.

Yeah, I haven't heard from MSU either. Sometimes I feel this website can be a bit depressing in that sense. Update: Just called MSU: all the invites haven't been sent yet. They will be done by the end of the week.

FACE PALM... It's amazing what comes out of some people's mouths. I told my one coworker at my part-time job I was applying to Ph.D. programs in neuroscience to do Alzheimer's disease research and she asked why I didn't want to work with a disease that mattered since old people were "near their end anyway." Jaw drop. That's not insensitive or anything..

I like that they notify you, but I also feel like it's even more torturous when they tell you they are currently looking at your app. I'm not sure if i want Friday to come or not now that I know it'll either be a really good day or a bad day. :/
