Someone says it will help with the admission. I tried to contact some profs, but most of they told me to got admitted firstly....then WE CAN talk about research..is it the typical issue?

Already applied for several American and Canadian universities. I even applied for the u of Auckland in case I got nothing else... Hope I can get admitted sw, really want to be a quant afterwards. Anyway, hope everyone realize your dreams.best

I have just finished my master degree and want to pursue a PhD about Mathematical Finance. in Northern America. I have applied to Boston University, CMU, Cornell, U of Florida and UCSB. Does anyone know any other Mathematical Finance PhD programs? For me, I am even starting searching Finance programs... If you know a program, Please tell me. Many thanks
