I, too, am only applying to NYU and CUNY, although not in the same area as you. I haven't heard from either yet, although I think NYU is out b/c they usually notify acceptees by 3/1 in my area. My preference is actually CUNY, but they are SLOW, SLOW, SLOW... Anyway, good luck!
