Katrun, I also applied to Sciences Po for dual program with Peking University... After I got accepted by LSE, NYU, IHEID, I thought of withdrawing my application from Sciences Po.. Now confused between LSE and IHEID !!!!

Oh my!! This post is really shadowing a doubt about LSE now..I am from London and LSE is very well respected in the UK and as well as outside the Europe..The only school outside the USA, that people heard and know beside Oxford and Cambridge is LSE..Even in the UK, getting admission to LSE is a big deal...So I would not fall for a rumours coz I have met an alumni and students who did their postgraduate from LSE, they had an amazing experience..I am accepted both in LSE and IHEID..now its time to compare pros and cons !!!

Alchyna, I am in the same boat..I was crazy about IHEID coz my dad went there and got his PhD...so wanted to continue family legacy..but now i am more leaning towards LSE for a year program..

Thanks for sharing your good news guys..Looks like IHEID is giving out their decision finally..Oh well, my still says "Under Consideration"..Dont know whether I should hate it coz its been there for forever or love it coz it hasnt change into Rejected Hey guys, do you find out ur financial aid along with ur admission decision or have to wait ?

Congratz Cai..That must have been a real great relief..i checked mine and still it says under consideration!!

Its 10th March 2013...There isnt any signal that IHEID sending out decisions to applicants...but trust me IHEID, I am not freaking out coz I know you cant take away my spirit and hope

Hey Dpgu800, I applied to SOAS and got accepted... I am in touch with one of my friend who goes there and he absolutely love SOAS and their program.

But dont forget the fact, US universities are much generous in terms of scholarship and financial aid, compare to European colleges

gemy, US college and their price are comparable to other universities in London and Geneva.... Tuition could be lot cheaper in London or Geneva, but again their accommodation cost is 3 times more than in USA..

Good luck guys.. I am also going to hear from IHEID and SAIS.. now i dont care anymore...I talked to my professor and alums, they all recommend me to take LSE offer..its worth money..

I applied for MIA track and I havent heard anything from IHEID...I was the least productive worker in this entire universe this week which will continue next week as well !!!! Any MIA candidate here ?

It is still Thursday evening here... so I hope I get to see my decision when I wake up tomorrow!!!!

Bluebird..I am thinking of waking up around mid-night, (Central Time) to see if they would send out email about the decision... if not, I am telling myself "I will not check IHEID email for a week." Lets see how much I can keep up my promise

I got into International Relations program. So I am pretty happy with LSE.. its just scholarship part from IHEID is killing me. If I get accepted, I will have almost full scholarship for two years at IHIED.. but if i decided to go LSE..I will have to pay almost $50K for a year....

I know exactly what you are going through...Seriously, my heart says "Dont go crazy about IHEID, just accept your offer either in LSE or SOAS, and forget about the rest"..I tried staying away from this thread but as soon as I sit down to work on my other stuffs, I start thinking about IHEID and ended up checking their site....damn life!! IHEID, you dont have to be this cruel...Just send out our decision, even if it is BAD ONE!! ANYWAY, who else is thinking of joining LSE for def. ?

so far we have two accepted to IHEID for Mdev..anyone from MIA track ? Please share if you got accepted to IHEID for MIA track...I am going crazy not knowing what to expect
