Angie, I am certain.. My dad got his PhD from IHEID long time back..My dad keep telling me since it is very competitive program, legacy doesnt count that much.. I dont know if he is pulling my leg or just a REALITY!!!!

Hello I.Hope, at least you were admitted... did you apply to Mdev programme ? I applied to MIA programme and havent heard from them ..just checked my application and it still says UNDER CONSIDERATION ....ARGH!!!

self-Confession, I have 0 patience and I mean it ZERO..Cant focus!!! If I get rejected from IHEID,. then I will start planning for LSE !!!!

That is true Angie... I dont know if I should trust ranking stuffs.. I went to small liberal arts college but still we have student every year going to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Cambridge and Oxford for their postgraduate studies..so not counting too much on those stuffs..anyway, I am off to work now... IHEID can wait two more weeks

I applied to Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy at NYU, Wagner School and International Relations at LSE.. got accepted to both school...

All right, I am betting on this one, IHEID will send out their decision tomorrow !! Even if I dont get in, at least I had few weeks to worry about....Congratulations in advance to those will get accepted...

Alchyna..I dont know why everyone including myself, is going crazy about IHEID.. As far as I know, college is good but is it really comparable to LSE, NYU and Sciences Po? plz feel free to share your ideas and thoughts!!!!

True to that angie...at the same time, I did not say IHEID doesnt have brand name..but everyone knows abt LSE, and it ranks number 2 after Harvard in International Relations.. I could not find IHEID in any of the ranking pool..not sure why though ? Def. if I get in IHEID, I will go regardless other school and their brand name...

Hello Cai, looks like we are fighting for the same school Did you apply to LSE ? I think I will go to IHEID, making it my first choice... but again, I am leaning towards LSE, given its name and ranking,,I know ranking doesnt matter but again, when you are out in the real world, brand name do matter!!!! Hello angie, for me its location, and if I just get in, I will have almost full scholarship... But as of now, I am leaning towards LSE.

I know what you mean Cai..I am in the same boat.Result are supposed to out this week.. Their website says March 1-15 ..so possibly they will start sending out decision from this Monday

Looks like this is going to be very tough one to get in.. I came across a post that was talking about IHEID, sending out rejection letter first.. I just cant hold on my anxiety any longer..cant think of anything but IHEID... checking my online status and it says :"Under Consideration"... I would love to see "Admitted" sigh* I really hope that is the case D:
