I know, I sent another follow up email today... I was half tempted to call.... really I want to call, but I know I shouldn't.

ahhh okay.. that makes a lot more sense, I called today, but it went to voicemail...hopefully it will be better on Monday.... Yeah the snow storm is suppose to hit here in NYC pretty soon... aka now

yup. unfortunately. I might give them a call next Monday if we don't find anything out by then, I figure that gives them ample time, I just want to know if they've sent out their interview invites or not because I have another interview pending on this one.... ha ... if i even get it

Has anyone applied and/or heard back from this program yet about interviews?

I'm secretly hoping that they will feel bad that they haven't sent out interview invites yet so they will call tomorrow, even though it's christmas eve...... one can only hope

no they didn't. it's driving me nuts, though I did hear there was some sort of Harvard bomb threat last week, so that might be why there is such a delay... unfortunately we have to wait now until Jan 2nd, because I think the office is closed from the 24th until the 2nd.

currently i'm in PST yeah all my time stamps are for EST, but when I am back in New York, the time stamps are always 3 hours ahead of me. no idea why

I emailed the BPH program just asking when they will send out invites, hopefully they will get back to me soonish...

Haha, just be prepared for rain, not heavy rain but just rain. Side note: if you have an umbrella you will be forever labeled as a "tourist", but if you don't have a rain coat, it is acceptable, I guess. Congrats on your interview there!

2 programs at Harvard, MIT, and BU MIT and BU are biomedical science programs, but Enviro health/public health at Harvard. UW is great, I did my undergrad in Seattle and I have a few friends there now doing their PhDs

yup... making up user names... not always easy. hah Did you contact any of the professors in the BPH program before you applied?

Oh cool yeah, BPH is my first choice program, mainly because of the public health focus, I'm hoping to go more into either cancer or obesity research with regards to epigenetic changes.

where on the website does it state their interview dates? I looked for it and apparently I just couldn't find it. I'm hoping to hear back within the next few days??? If no one has heard anything about it yet, then I assume they haven't let anyone know of anything and considering Harvard BBS just sent out their interview invites... everything is a bit later in the game?

Undergrad: small Liberal arts Major: biochemistry GPA: 3.71 Graduate school: MPH degree from Columbia GPA: 3.93 GRE (old): V: 570 Q: 780 W: 4.5 Applying to: Harvard BPH- Genetics and Complex Diseases Harvard School of Public Health- Environmental Epidemiology/Epigenetics BU- PiBS MIT-Biology BUSPH- Environmental Epidemiology Applying mainly to Environmental Health programs focusing on environmental exposures and their effects on epigenetics, mainly methylation and histone modifications. Is anyone else looking at the Harvard Biological Sciences in Public Health (BPH) program?
