  1. I've gone through and started reading more specific papers for my potential PIs, and looking for other people that might be interesting. May be worth a go!
  2. I visited Purdue for the molecular pharmacology program, was a smaller program and wasn't particularly impressed. The other programs might be better, and I can't compare to Utah. West Lafayette was pretty meh I'm my opinion too. There were a couple people there doing decent research though. Try to look at papers and look for PIs, and try to figure out what kind of equipment is available to you too.
  3. Just accepted IPiB program in Madison, WI! Exciting, and crazy to finally be done.
  4. Great article thanks for this!
  5. I've heard nothing as well. Will you post if you hear anything from Christian?
  6. Anyone heard from Yale BBSB program? I've seen other programs on here...
  7. Rejection from Caltech today, not a big surprise since no interview
  8. Accepted to Madison WI IPiB program today! My first real acceptance! Yay! Still one more visit to La Jolla, but WI has a great program.
  9. Email today for an interview at Scripps next week at La Jolla
  10. I would seriously consider taking the bio one. I took the biochem and I think it hurt my chances with some of the schools. After you take it and indicate your schools you can not change your mind about sending, and if you screw up that is that. It also seems most schools don't care what gre you take.
  11. If it helps I haven't heard from Davis either. Biochem but still...
  12. Awesome! Looking forward to it, maybe see you there. Best of luck!
  13. Anyone else going to Mayo on Thursday? I'm starting to get psyched for my first in person interview!
  14. So much biology here so little biochemistry.
  15. Tough school to get into and a good class it seems this year. Well keep an eye out for mine as well.
