This wait is cruel. Goldman was my only application for the season. But it feels too late for an acceptance to trickle through. Hope they tell us something soon.

Yep I did but to just one school (Goldman).

I know it is too close to the actual deadline, but isn't the prompt too specific. And then in the end it says " In the PHS, we want a sense of you as a person". Anyone having any advice on how to tackle it ? If it is a diversity essay, why so much stress on education? TIA

HI scholl, thanks for this info. Would you know if MSPPM students do TA ship (or even RA ship) outside Heinz (say at Tepper for some Eco course). Also, is it rare to find MSPPM students doing RA ships during year 1. Also is it true that TA/RA is limited to 10hrs per week?

Just heard from Heinz. Admitted with a $8k (per semester). Would like to know what are the possibilities for getting TAship/RA ship etc.

$7500 for Fall'14 & Spring'15 (so $15k in all for year 1)...not much considering how expensive the school is

I had a relook at the email which said "...awarded you merit-based financial aid for the Masters of Public Policy full time (M.P.P.) program for the Fall 2014 term" This to me most likely means that second year awards are considered separately. However, I might be wrong. @all : On a separate note, do any of you have any idea about TA/RA ship opportunities at Georgetown? Thanks!

I have exactly the same concern. In addition, I am an international student and so need to be doubly cautious about any dollar debt. Harris seems like the right school for us as it 'appears' more theoretical but the no-funding situation makes it a very difficult choice. Also i would be interested in knowing the general scene around TA ships, RA ships etc (if any) at Harris.

I am also an international student. My decision to attend/not attend would primarily hinge on the $$ they are offering. The school has a high tution and even the cost of living in DC are would be high. So in short, I need to know the aid-package before I start debating my choices.

i got my acceptance letter today. But unfortunately, i am currently on waitlist for merit funding. As an international student, fin-aid looms large on my mind and would be the major decision variable for me. i also have a prof cced in the scanned hard copy letter sent to me via email.

It appears from the results submission page that Heinz MSPPM results were announced yesterday. Did any international student hear from them?

I received another email today from Georgetown GSAS asking me to check the official admission decision on website. The content of this letter is almost same as what we all got on 9th Feb (and it says nothing about any funding). So should I conclude there is no funding for me? Did anyone of you hear regarding fin aid? Thanks!

Unfortunately, even i have very little info abt LKY. I tried but couldn't get hold of any current student/alumni? I wanted to know if the school is really good in any particular policy areas and also the career outcomes of LKY grads (given that the website has little info on that). The only thing i know/heard is the vague phrase that the school has an asia focus. Do let us know the interview details if you attend it. Thanks.

While I did submit on 15th Jan, one of my recommendation was completed as late as 5th Feb. Will post here if I hear anything from them

I was under the impression that interview and quant test happen together. Is it possible that quant test is not done for all applicants (say for those who have quant undergrad training) Also by what date was your application complete (in all respects including recos, scores etc)? How long a notice did u get to prep for interview? Thanks.

refer to posts on this thread ( it is an old one). It will provide you some info. seems like for India & China they have exam/interview in respective countries.
