Is Stafford the same as Direct Unsubidized Loan? I also received $20k and wondering if that's per semester or the whole academic year.

Have you heard back from Wake? I called them today and they told me that all rejection letters were already mailed out, so if you haven't received one, you can assume that you are wait listed.

I think it varies from year to year, but all I know is those who applied to phd do get in at least somewhere. I might call the department tomorrow to an update... I'm getting a little anxious!!

I am still waiting for Wake as well. I spoke to the grad coordinator early in the app process and he told me that they have a 100% record of students getting into a PhD program.

155 on a verbal isn't a bad score at all! I think you shouldn't have anything to worry

I got a little inpatient and called them last week. They said we should hear back by the end of this week. Congrats on W&M, I heard that's a great program too! As for Wake, did you get any email/phone call from POI? I saw someone posted on the result page that they got an email for phone interview last week.

What kind of pet and how many? I think Harvard housing allows one pet in each apartment so if you have only one, you may want to check them out. I will be bringing my two dogs with me in the fall and currently looking for a place too.

I just remembered that they accepted EdM applications until Jan 6th, instead of Jan 3rd this year due to snow storm. Maybe that will delay the decision? Ugh... I am seriously going nutssss

That's exactly what I've been doing for this whole week. I'm also doing the whole reverse psychology thing where I kept telling myself that I'm not getting in, so if I do get rejected, I won't be as disappointed...

Today will be the longest day of my life yet. I can't stop thinking about the fact that they might have us wait until Monday or later... Gahhhhh
