  2. It really does depend based on school. I got interview invites from University of Georgia and IUPUI, which both came from a graduate admissions coordinator. I believe these were sent to all invitees at the same time. I got a mass rejection notice from Nebraska, which I believe were sent out to all applicants at the same time. Then for University of Iowa, I saw a few invites so assumed that I would not be receiving one. However, a couple of days ago I received an e-mail from my POI extending an invite. I think these were more spread out because the POIs were getting in touch rather than an admissions person. I would imagine there is a range of time (for example a two week window) in which the school expects POIs to get in touch. Like artsy16, I totally understand the feeling of seeing invites go out and not be on the list. This is my third year applying! Although the patience is agonizing, it usually does pay off. I hope you hear something soon!

  5. I also got an interview invite to Georgia yesterday! But yes, I believe that this is just because the deadline was so early, so I'm not holding my breath on hearing too much else over the next two weeks. Feels good to have one 'for sure' before Christmas though.
  6. I think we can all relate to this!
  7. One of my programs, UMKC, is still on a paper format. It is truly frustrating, and kind of throws a curve ball when all the other programs are electronic. They even want a paper copy of my GRE scores, which I'm struggling with because since I have taken the test multiple times, I can only get a paper report with all the test scores . Blech! Just gotta stay on top of them though, good luck with yours!
  8. I am glad there is a place to commiserate! It's about that time I start obsessively checking gradcafe and SDN again. This is my second year in a row applying to clinical programs. I feel like I have a better CV and more well-rounded LORs this year...soo...fingers crossed! So far, I've submitted two of twelve applications. Hoping to have the rest submitted by Thanksgiving, but I am truly starting to feel overwhelmed. *Sighhhh*. Feeling more prepared than last year, but just as stressed...maybe even more. I'm applying to University of Kansas, University of New Mexico, University of Georgia, Georgia State, Univ of Maryland-Baltimore County, University of Alabama-Birmingham, University of Iowa, Indiana University-Purdue, Syracuse University, University of Missouri-Kansas City, University of Nebraska, and University of Miami.
  9. If the person who just posted for a phone interview from UAB could PM your POI, I'd appreciate it!
  10. If the recent poster that listed a rejection e-mail from WashU post- phone interview is on here, could you PM me your POI? I had a phone interview a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard anything either way yet.
