I believe they are done making offers, they will only admit if someone declines their offer, then they may put those from the wait list into admitted status. I believe if you haven't heard back by the now, you are on wait list.

Anyone going to OSU visitation on the 28th?

I called GA-tech, only a few final offers are being mad this week. That's it. After that it is all wait list

This has nothing to do with grad apps, just pulled an all night to write my lab report for my instruments class, and prepare my oral defense for my senior project....... I am super tired....and Georgia tech still hash't responded lol! In other news Just got my official offer from OSU, 30K stipend! :) Eggcited!

I want to keep staying in Austin also lol. But my advisor told me its better to go somewhere else. Austin city is just awesome

Guys this week is still early in on the acceptance/rejection season. I was looking through the Fall 2013 forum for chem phd, ALOT of people were accepted throughout february into early march. So don't anticipate decisions to come out this week.

I'm not sure have you looked into Dr. S----l, but he was an absolutely awesome instructor, not sure if u'd like his research. GPA: 3.2 cumm/3.3 major BS Chemistry (senior doing last semester) 5 Semesters of research/1 Poster presentation GRE: 155Q/153V/4.0 3 strong LOR Research fellowship...its basically a grant award I won from the college. 1 intern at a polymers company. Interest: Physical, synthesis What do you guys think about my stats? I'm really worried I won't get into schools, its already the end of january! Close to the end. .......... I know my stats are bad, but my UG institution UT austin is pretty well ranked in Chem. Btw i'm international....worried that my low stats+being an intl will keep me from getting in... Have any other internationals heard back?? I feel like they review our apps after the domestic students.
