  1. I'll be living at Rains!
  2. Headed to Stanford for an MS-PhD this fall!
  3. Honestly I was accepted to all 3 and I'd have to say it's a close call between UCLA and NU. The issue is funding at NU was much higher than UCLA. Assuming there's interesting research at both that might make the decision easier. Best of luck and if you have any questions please let me know.
  4. Good luck on your decision! If you do get an offer from Berkeley will you be attending there for sure? I just sent in my acceptance this morning to the dept. at Stanford. Have to wait 24 hours until I can do so for the graduate school officially, though.
  5. I will be accepting tomorrow. I am headed to Stanford for an MS and hopefully a PhD as well!
  6. I'll be heading to Stanford to do my MS in Mech Eng and hopefully a PhD
  7. Yes I am from the US and I got an email.
  8. Heard today that I was rejected from Michigan Aerospace today from their PhD but was offered admission to the MSE program. This was my only aerospace app since I applied Mechanical everywhere else.
  9. What's up guys?! So where's everyone headed this fall? I'm still trying to decide between two schools.
  10. 21k for 9 months. That's the fellowship although I know there are also departmental fellowships and I've heard 15k for 9 months. It seems to me funding is a bit of an issue here.
  11. The MechE department offers a small number of fellowships with full tuition waver and stipend. Could be that your department does at well or it could not be.
  12. It's between UCLA and Stanford. I'm visiting UCLA labs on Wednesday.
  13. Just got the notice I was awarded the fellowship.
  14. Apparently fellowship awards are supposed to be announced any day now.
  15. Took me about 2-3 weeks to receive the official letter after the departmental one. Hang in there.
