I've received an email from SAIS JHU about a month ago saying they wouldn't be sending decisions until mid-March. Don't know about baltimore. Well, now I'm 3 down and still waiting six others. Hard to keep positive throughout this butchery.

Seriously, after taking the time to fill out applications and paying the application fee, which it's not cheap at all, not sending any emails is disrespectfully cruel. I haven't applied to UChicago, but I'm really sorry if they actually did this to applicants anyway.

Can someone claim USC? They've sent an email some weeks ago saying they'll be sending notifications for the POIR program "no sooner than 19th February but no later than 21st Feb", but I've seen some notifications on the gradcafe survey already, any news about it?

I know! I actually got emails from American University and USCS (which turned out to be an Italian one) inviting me to apply too and those few seconds 'til I realized they were just publicity were the worst.

I've just got my first rejection, from UCSD. I don't feel that bad 'cause I guessed that would be the decision indeed, but those seconds from getting the email to actually reading the message were pretty intense! I'm still shaking after some minutes now.

Hey! I've been following this thread for some days now so I figured I'd just join. It's my first time applying for grad school programs and I've never thought anxiety would be this hard to handle. Reading you all makes me feel a little bit better as I realize I'm not the only one struggling with the suspense, so thanks for sharing!
