I'm graduating soon from my doctoral program and will probably be doing independent research for the foreseeable future. The institution I am currently at has a friends of the library giving level that grants ILL privileges for life. Unfortunately, I will be leaving the state and living in Southern California. Does anyone know of a similar arrangement at a good research library in SoCal where I could effectively purchase ILL privileges? Thanks!

Congrats to all of the BC admits. I was hoping to be one of them, but sadly did not receive a notification yesterday. Has anyone confirmed with the department that all offers and waitlist notifications have been sent out? It would be nice to know for sure whether or not that door is shut.
