I always take offense to being called a part of the "entitled" and "lazy" generations. I have worked so hard to get to where I am today. I am self-motivated and give everything academic related, 100%. I'm not trying to sound pretentious, but I don't take lightly to being lumped into that category...

They told me that decisions were on going... I´ve bee checking the boards like mad, and it doesn't seem like really anyone has heard!! I'm so nervous to hear!!

I was not interviewed... unfortunately!

I got wait listed on Sunday, but that's all I've heard.

I called Yale today. They wouldn't tell me a darn thing other than they are still trying to make decisions and send out admissions. JUST TELL ME I'M REJECTED ALREADY.

Mine says that too... I hope that means something!! Like maybe good??? Hahah I don't know how, but I'll take any hope at this point!!

It sounds like they haven't told anyone yet? That's what the secretary said anyways. There isn't anything posted on the results board for Columbia yet (that I'm going to believe, considering the department said they hadn't released anything, and some of them said they heard a month ago or something). Yale, I'm feeling it's pretty safe to say that there's a nice rejection letter coming my way.

I just called Columbia because I was feeling gutsy. The anthro department said they just gave their admission notices to the grad school to send out themselves either Friday or today. So we should hear this week about Columbia. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing...

Political ecology/ sociocultural environmental anthro with Lisa Cliggett! How about you?? I'm from Ohio, and know a bunch of people who go to OSU. I don't know anyone who has anything bad to say about the school, so you've got two very stellar options.

I got into UK this past week, but it's the only school I've heard anything positive from. I got rejected from Indiana on Thursday. If they come through with funding, it'll look more solid for that.

I'm from up near Ann Arbor, and the cold is not fun, but just bundle up! You need a good winter coat, scarf, hats, gloves, etc. The snow is fun! Just be prepared for how windy it is during the winter. That's sometimes not the best. But it's a great school with a great program. I have some friends who went there, and they absolutely loved it!

Right?? Just rip the bandaid off... don't let it continue...

Haha I'm starting to wonder if they'll ever contact us. There's been silence from them!

I hear you Nowaynohow... I'm just ready to at the very least get a rejection letter so they put me out of my wondering misery!

Columbia and Yale are taking their sweet time... Oh wait... All of my schools are. I'm trying to remain hopeful!
