I know Notre Dame already interviewed and accepted some people for clinical. They have also rejected some people for clinical. I have heard nothing. Does anyone know what's going on with them?
Mine too! I know visitation weekend was a few weeks ago - someone told me they don't do waitlists. I am guessing they haven't gotten around to rejecting us or they might wait before rejecting people in case something falls through with people they accepted.
Does anyone know if Minnesota tends to hold all their rejections till the end or do they tend to let you know early on you're rejected? I applied to work with faculty who work in multiple departments (e.g. Social, clinical, personality) - so I don't think it'd be that department specific (in my scenerio).
Agreed - at my interview, people wore dress pants and sweaters the first day, which included dinner with the department and grad student hang out time.
It probably won't hurt you much, provided you're strong every where else. They probably won't ask about it in an interview - go with "health issue," if they do. They would probably not probe further - if they do, politely indicate you don't feel comfortable disclosing any more information as it is personal.
