Yeah, looks like a few were sent out Saturday, Sunday and today. Any idea why ND does that?

Hey sorry this is soooo late. I applied for Historical. But the original email seemed very generic and seemed to come from the entire department.

Hi everyone, I was emailed about a Skype interview for marquette two days ago. I'm not sure if that means anyone who didn't get an invitation to interview is automatically rejected. I was surprised it was so early.

Then again, maybe ND is sending out emails via area this time.

Honestly, I wouldn't take that person too seriously. If you look, last year it was on the 27th and I imagine this person is trying to cause a panic. Horrible people....! Don't we feel ENOUGH anxiety??

Yes, everyone in any area at ND gets interviewed before getting accepted. I have a feeling that emails should go out this week, based on last year!

Fides, what area are you applying in?

I'm at the STM right now, and this year, almost every student who applied to a Phd program received an offer somewhere. It is becoming a very good school in terms of placing students at some of the top Phd programs, I'd say. Places like Notre Dame, Fordham, St. Louis University, Boston College to name a few.
