  1. For people that have hunter interviews already- what concentration? When were you notified? When is the interview? Also is there anybody here who has interviewed there before and would you be willing to share about your experience?
  2. Thanks for sharing this. It feels good to just close the door on Columbia and move on. Yesterday I called and asked if all interview requests have been sent out and she said "we haven't finalized the process" and I said "so there's still a chance?" And she said "uhhh... I suppose so." I think that's a technicality and it's game over- vague answer because... what else can they say until decisions are final? Anyway, good luck to you, and to everybody on their applications. Stay strong everybody! This process can feel degrading but the most important thing is that we just keep making art. We will all find our way! Don't let the man get you down!
  3. Thanks for sharing! I'm going a little nuts over here waiting for hunter!
  4. Did anybody else apply for Hunter clay/casting?
  5. Congrats!! You'll nail it. just curious- do you still have MFA in your slideroom?
  6. Awesome- thanks for sharing! You're work is great! Love the black sculptural piece. I did a residency at Cal State Long Beach and loved it there- since you're looking at Cali schools maybe you'd be interested in their grad program. Thanks for taking a look at my work!
  7. Is anybody out there applying to ceramics programs, or other programs but with a mostly clay portfolio?
  8. Hey Ya'll- is anybody applying with a ceramics portfolio? What programs are you applying to? It can be a pretty different situation for us ceramics people- just wondering what you guys think about how the approach differs. Good luck to all! Im just applying to Hunter (clay and casting) and Columbia Sculpture this year. Maybe NYU? www.rebexman.com

  10. Anybody hear from Hunter sculpture?
  11. in the past couple years columbia didn't send out official rejections until April if I remember correctly- far after interviews and acceptances were sent out. but so far as far as I can tell, sculpture people haven't had interview requests?
  12. Was it sculpture people that got calls?
  13. I think you are probably right
  14. I think it means they are makin decisions as we speak. As soon as people get the MFA back and interview calls go out presumably to them, people without no MFA are out. That's how it was in past years, except last year was the opposite. The reason I think losing and getting MFA back this year means an interview is that painting had it that way. Then again- this IS all unofficial and things change in systems. Perhaps painting and sculpture will not be congruent. I think regardless people will get contact red for interviews by the end of the week at the LATEST
  15. Thank you good luck to you too!
  16. Yeeessssss and I'm scared! This is my third year applying ya'l are you applying for sculpture?

  19. Does anybody have an idea based on past years when we might be hearing from Bard and/or Hunter? I applied for sculpture.
