I finally mailed in my acceptance materials to UC Denver (Anschutz med campus for Global Health/Maternal and Child Health) today and OF COURSE today is the day I finally hear back from USC with an acceptance to their Global Health Leadership MPH. But I was leaning way more towards Denver, just wanted to go to USC because my sister lives in LA, but I liked Denver's program more, I liked the location and cost of living. More my scene than LA, I think.

I think I'm going to start seriously looking in mid-June. I've been looking on craigslist and padmapper to narrow down areas and rental companies that seem good, but I feel like it's too early for someone to rent to me when I can't move in until August, and I can only fly out once to look at places. I will be looking in the Denver area.

Relying on the COTA (the columbus city bus service) is always dicey if you aren't going straight up and down high street, at least in my experience. But I live close to campus so I don't have personal experience going from German Village to campus. But German Village is really cute and quiet and has great little restaurants

I'm choosing between USC Global Health and UC Denver (Anschutz medical campus) Global Health/Maternal and Child Health.

I've been accepted to the Anschutz Medical Campus for a grad program. I'm unfamiliar with Denver and where things are, so how close is Aurora to downtown Denver? Any students at the medical campus who know where are the good areas for grad students to live? I'm looking for quiet but not boring, I'm fresh out of college at Ohio State and still want to get out and meet people and be by bars and restaurants Any information would help!
