Hey PsychologyStudent101, I took a look at the website again, and now I'm thinking its for new students because students finishing the winter semester of their first year would have already started a placement in January, so would have the advanced standing students. I think either way, I'm going to go and check it out. You can never be too informed

I think you're right. I wish I looked more closely before registering lol. I think its for people finishing their first year.

Hi Psychologystudent101, the acceptance email did say the minimum amount i would receive, but on the phone they said to wait for the funding mail to see if it would be more. Im just calculating my expenses and considering how much I need to save before I move to Toronto. I guess those letters havent been sent out yet.

Hi everyone. Did anyone recieve their funding package from York U for the 2yr MSW? I received the acceptance package almost two weeks ago but I still havent received the funding information yet.

I've been waitlisted for the UofT 2yr MSW. I'm going to accept the York U offer as I really like their anti-oppersion and marginalization stance.

Did anyone who was accepted to Yorks 2yr program receive their admission package in the mail yet? I don't want to miss the deadline for accepting the admission.

This is what the email said : Join us on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 10am to 2pm for our biggest and best open house of the year. Chat with current graduate students. Meet professors. Tour our world-class facilities. Come and see where you will study, learn, live, rest, relax, work-out and eat. Location: York University, Keele Campus. 4700 Keele St., Toronto, Ontario, M3J 1P3 Register for the day and we'll email you when the final agenda is ready. We look forward to seeing you there!

Hey b39, I was accepted through email this morning and my myfile still says no decision made.

I got accepted to the York 2-yr program!!!!! I'm still waiting for UofT, but Yorks offer looks pretty amazing. I don't know what I'm going to do if UofT says yes.

Ahh! It's almost April. I feel like I've been holding my breath for months. Thank you B39, psychologystudent101 and I_c for your replies to my previous post. Congrats to the accepted, and happy waiting for the rest of us
