Thank you!!! I completed my BSW at McMaster and when I completed this I was hired at CCAS. I have about 3 1/2 years of work experience. I volunteered with children at risk, like a mentoring program when I was completing my BSW. I also added in my placement experience. Also pertaining to the essay I focused on a lot of the challenges in the system such as wait list, mental health and addictions. I hope this helps, if you have any further questions just ask me!

Hey everyone Does anyone know about the waitlist for York and Ryerson for their advance standing MSW program? I am guessing by now all the spots are full and the waitlist isn't really moving anywhere...

i am still on the waiting list for Ryerson advance standing MSW and York advance standing.. i guess at this time is it probably time to admit that i wasn't accepted. Does anyone else know about the waitlist for these two schools?

i agree with being on the waitlist (York and Ryerson) it is just so much stress! I applied for the advance standing and i feel there is less movement with that. I also feel like i have to come to terms that i did not get in which is upsetting.. well i guess always try next year

Hi everyone! I'm new to this topic but i would like to get people's input and their experience. I am wait listed at York and Ryerson for MSW. Does any one know if movement does happen if you are wait listed and when would we be expected to hear back? In the e-mail for York they said from now till August 31, pretty big chunk of time :S

Hi Everyone I am new to this form but it has been helpful reading everyone's comments. I applied for MSW at York and Ryerson and i am waitlisted on both . I was wondering does anyone know if these waitlist move fast? or at all? I suppose it depeneds on how many people decline their offer but it just makes me nervous not knowing and always being on eggshells about being accepted.
