I spoke to the girl who goes there now and she said she really likes ETSU and the area. She said it's a nice place, things within walking distance and everything you need is around. The teachers she said are very approachable, friendly and get to know you on a personal level. She said it's much different than her undergrad school, much quieter not so much of a party atmosphere and that a lot of girls in her cohort are married. She said the program overall isn't bad, not completely stressful and overwhelming like i have heard some programs to be. She said on the weekends she has time to relax, have a social life or whatever she wants to do. She said Johnson City is very pretty, a lot of hiking trails and outdoorsy things to do as well. Class times are in the evenings like 530-830, but they are trying out morning classes recently and most girls like that better (8am-11am) then clinic til 5. She said the clinics are all new and very nice. She takes 15 credits a semester, she said thats standard, which i'm a little confused cause I thought the program was only 48 credits, but 15 times 4 semesters would be 60 cause summer session is only like two 1-credit courses or something so i'm not sure. She walks to campus from her apartment, parking can be hard on campus. She said the weather is great, i'm not sure where youre from, but she is from Michigan and i'm from NY so were used to cold weather! Also an orientation was held in the summer a week before classes start to get to know your cohort and the program. I think that was everything hope this helps!
