Visited Bloomington this Monday, great experience. Meet with professors with shared interests from Political Science, Literature, Cultural Study, and even Geography Departments. Jeff Isaac is charming. So, decision made (though still waiting for some not-so-important likely rejections).

Cornell rejection. Now it's final. I am going to Bloomington. Other results do not matter.

So it seems that BC's acceptances and rejections go through postal service, but I still got nothing

I think there's only one acceptance about two weeks ago.

And I still haven't heard from Duke...Most likely all acceptances and waitlists have already been sent. Real implicit rejection.

got official offer from Indiana. Still waiting for Brown and Cornell. Also Duke, but it seems like it is an implicit rejection. If no good news from those two, I think I am going to Bloomington.

Got a call to announce acceptance too. But since there are only 3 posted, I think they are still working on it. Theory subfield.

First acceptance from IUB, five-year funding package, phone call. Political theory with a concentration on critical theory. Finally can sleep well now.

Anyone to claim the Rutgers Interview? Did they say anything about when the decisions would come?

I certainly know it is tough to receive three rejections in row. But you got eight more to come and you just need one yes. Also you got all these guys, yeah like me, who haven't received any acceptances with you. I am even thinking about what to do if I just got all twenty rejections. I am in NYU's master program right now, and I know the PhD program in this department is highly competitive. But good things will come.

I am right here with you. But according to last year the earliest decision came at around Feb. 16th. And I put my most limited hope in it---don't think I am qualified for it.

So basically I was rejected from Berkeley, and waiting for rejections from Duke and Northwestern. Those are the top three favorite programs on my list..It seems ironic.

Oh, then no decision yet. Congratulations. It is a great program.

I don't even think I have a left column...

And I got nothing on my Duke SISS portal...
