Hi guys.. I know this is a bit random, but a grad coordinator from Northwestern emailed me and asked my "current mailing address." I asked if she could inform me on my admission status, and she just told me that i will need to check the website for that.. Do you think this is a good sign? i mean, why would they ask my mailing address if they were gonna reject me?

I was notified that I am on a "short list" of alternates for Michigan. I emailed to ask where I am on that list but, their policy is not to inform applicants about it. (have no idea why.) Michigan is my top choice, and i am wondering if anyone knows what my chances are here. I didn't see any posting about being waitlisted at Michigan..and I am a bit confused about where I stand realistically. Please post here anything that you know.. it would be greatly helpful!!! thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to those who have been rejected or waitlisted.. are you guys cultural? or are you guys also biological? i am wondering if it's only bio anthro people who have been notified. i am confused.

agreed. I did called today and they said "no admission have gone out yet" and it will be going out this week or next week. they are mean and careless.

can someone confirm this? anyone accepted or waitlisted? i know that schools give out admissions first. i didn't receive an email..and i am so terrified now. can someone call? i called yesterday and am afraid that they might recognize my voice and think i am crazy..

i just called.. and decisions are NOT finalized. they will be finalized within a week... this sucks. can anyone try calling and see what they say?
