Just got accepted into the Two Year MSW Clinical Stream program at U of C! My hands were shaking and the tears came! Can't wait to meet with anyone here who is going! And LetsPlayHungryHungryHippos, Calgary is AWESOME! And the clinical program holds a lot of weight for jobs, whether you are in Alberta or Ontario. Psychotherapy is also a regulated profession with their own college in Ontario as of this past April so thats a bonus for us clinical RSW's! Come and have a view of the rocky mountains!

Hi ali_son! I get nervous every time I see someones been accepted into one of Calgary's 2 year MSW's with a specfiic stream. From my understanding you cannot choose any stream during the foundation year and you apply during your second year to the stream. Did you mean that on your application you wrote that going into the clinical stream is your intent? This is how I wrote mine.... I am currently on the waitlist still for the clinical stream! .... ah see now I did it. I mean that I am on the waitlist for the 2 year MSW, with an application that says I'd like to go into the clinical stream!

Anyone here on th waitlist for Univeristy of Calgary's MSW 2 year program (non-BSW entry)? I received an email that I am on the waitlist! I have a BA in Geography and a BEd. My experience is 3 years of teaching in a remote community at the top of the NWT. Can anyone who got in share what they've done, or if you are on the waitlist.... did you call to see where you are at?!!!! Thanks!
