Worst e-mail EVER. Wasn't the Stanford deadline two months ago?

Did they send you information about your funding package already? I just got the (what appears to be) standard acceptance letter this morning.

Princeton's rejection letter > Berkeley's rejection letter

My Wisconsin still says:

Congrats on U-M! I'm a current MPP student and I know of at least one SOE PhD student who added an MPP while enrolled. It's definitely possible -- though challenging, for sure -- to do both.

They might be a little nervous about this incoming cohort. From my convo with Duke this week, it sounds like their cohort last year was way too big, so their goal this year is a total of 6. Did you hear the same thing when you talked to them?

Looks like Berkeley sent out their acceptances & rejections -- am I the only one who hasn't heard from Berkeley Soc at all? Did I forget to apply?

Question for Berkeley admits -- did you receive an email from your POI?

I heard back from Duke today -- waitlisted. Looks like Berkeley has also started notifying folks, but in the past years, it seems like they notify folks over a pretty long window. Can anyone confirm this?

Hi all -- I may be jumping the gun a bit here, considering that acceptances/rejections are still on the way. Nonetheless... I just received a job offer for summer employment through July. This is a dream job opportunity, and I am excited to accept it. However, do some PhD programs require a summer commitment prior to enrolling in the fall? None of the programs I applied to explicitly said I must be available in the summer, but do any of you have experience/information about the possibility of summer commitments? I would, of course, turn down this job if it meant I couldn't accept a PhD offer... However, I would really love to do both, if possible. Thank you in advance!
