For those who got interviews at NY medical college. What are some of the dates you received? They gave me 2 Wednesday's and notes that a campus interview is mandatory. I have 2 classes on Wednesdays...

oh i didnt even see that.. its new this year though. apparently previously they gave out a bunch of admission and a lot of them went to western last minute and they had under admitted. so now theyre using it as an additional factor...

lol for anyone who cares apparently it was my overall gpa, although Sue sounded surprised when i pointed out my major gpa is 4.0 and my sub gpa is a 3.86.. apparently none of that matters i have a good reason too... i think they didnt read my application fully... @lindzzz i think youre right about the luck thing

i didnt do arts and crafts while there if thats what u mean im 90% sure its my sop. it wasnt flowing for this school as it didnt for others... probably showed

Even if they do... I have 200 hours of volunteering with children with speech disorders, autistic kids, aphasia patients. As well as 200 hours of working in a lab doing research. As well as an independent study and conferences. If not these things... Wth are they looking at XD

firs rejection to those who got the interview at ST ROSE what were yours stats? last year someone with worse stats than me got waitlisted. and they just straight up rejected me also BU sent me a supplemental application

No problem. It's from the results page. I didn't email them myself. People really need to start posting here instead of spamming the results postings.

Just a heads up for everyone waiting on BU interviews - spoke to the dept and they said they would let us know by Feb 18th at the latest (argh!), via email, and that they would notify us either way (so even if we didn't get an interview)

also this regarding rush This is the response I received when asking for an update on the application status: "due to the high volume of applications that were received, the Admissions Review Committee is working thru them in stages" (i didnt email them myself)

NYMC just emailed me that they received my application.. i guess they really are going in alphabetical order

WRONG! jsut fyi, the choice DOES matter. starting this year, students who rank uoft as first as ranked higher in the applications than those who rated it second. i spoke with someone on the addcom.

all those NYMC interviews are making me anxious and yesterday i saw the st rose rejections via post so i ran to my mail box... nothing. good thing? bad thing?

im hoping BU sends me an interview as im driving there and it would be nice to get it all in one bang.

its fine, because it still lists uoft as 01 and western 02 right? should be ok as thats the official application

emerson finally emailed everyone officially about the interview slots
