well it doesnt help with apps and cost money.. so i say its not needed, and yours might have been great, but the add com doesnt know that. the profs arent consistent and there is no syllabus or set curricum,etc, again this is from ontario ad com, so alberta or wherever might be way better

yeah so to answer, i spoke to add com, and its entirely useless. they dont consider it one bit, also theyre not standardized at all. u wont get the same education everywhere you go, which is another reason its completely useless. dont waste your money, unless you really want to

Just received my acceptance for Boston university. First choice. Couldn't be happier

I just got an email saying I'm on wait list so they didn't really need any of those things... Not sure what's going on with them

Usf is giving me such a headache they just emailed me asking to upload the gre scores , the toefl exam and the transcript with a bachelors degree to their application. None of which makes sense since thy said that the gre doesn't need to be uploaded since CSDCAS already has a copy. Furthermore I won't get my degree until June cause like about 90% of the people I graduate this semester but the official date is June. And I don't have the toefl exam because my university's primary language is English and I'm not an international student. Did eveyone have to do this...? The toefl especially ?

lol the numbers were the only thing that could have been wrong with the application.. i think all schools need to do interviews. thats the only way u can get to know the person within 15min span of time. but thats just me

gah a rejection i actually cared about MGH someone posted as waitlisted with lower stats than mine.. that bugs me

i kinda feel like were all doing it on the results page anyway right? thats my go to place to check

2 weeks from interview, i mentioned this on the fall 2016 thread as well

i emailed all the profs who interviewed with me with a thank you for seeing me, wonderful to meet you, loved the tour, etc
