  1. Have any of you taken leveling courses from more than one school? Im currently taking 3 leveling courses at USU. Next semester I might have to take courses from 2 or 3 schools, due to course availability. Do you feel this will be a concern for any grad schools I apply to?
  2. Hi Sayjo Did you purchase a 3 ring binder?
  3. This is so helpful! Thank you thank you!
  4. This question may be a little silly, but I have been out of a school setting for at least a decade! What school supplies do I need in order to take my leveling/pre req courses?
  5. How was your experience with UWEC? I am considering taking a bunch of post bacc courses with them.
  6. What is the other program that offers 4 courses in the Fall and 4 in the Spring? I am having a tough time deciding between USU, La Salle, and Univ of Wisconsin Eau Claire. ENMU program also looks good, but 8 week classes intimidate me.
  7. Just curious. May I ask where you are taking your pre reqs? I'm not a teacher, but I have a part time business and my 2 year old son to look after. I too am wondering if it can all be done.
  8. Anyone take post bacc courses with Univ. of Wisconsin-Eau Claire?? The tuition looks pretty affordable and I like the courses they offer. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Yes, I'll be starting classes online this Fall. Don't know yet where. Deciding between LaSalle, Northwestern, Eastern New Mexico, Utah State and University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Thanks also for your input!
  10. Thanks to both of you!
  11. Happen to know which schools are accepting grad students for Spring Admissions 2015?
  12. If you could suggest 2 or 3 Pre SLP classes that I should take first, which would you recommend? For instance, should I take Phonetics, Anatomy, and Normal Speech/Language Development first and at the same time? Are there any courses you recommend taking together or definitely not together? Which classes have you found are the most challenging and/or time consuming? Any information regarding difficulty, time consumption, etc. would be really helpful!
  13. So, you were able to complete all your prereqs before grad school started, it sounds like? May I ask how many total prereqs you needed for your grad school? I'm thinking 3 classes is manageable if you could do 2 on a 50-60+ hr work schedule. I don't work NEARLY that much. Good for you, really impressive!
  14. I will be taking courses online. I love your schedule above. Based on your schedule above, I should be ok with 3 courses. I could always sign up for 3 and then withdraw 1 of them if I feel its too much, correct?
  15. How many Pre SLP classes should I take per semester? Would really like to knock out as many as possible before I apply to grad schools in January. Should I take (2) 8 week courses per 8 weeks? Or (2) 16 week classes or (3) 16 week classes per semester? I've been hearing that students don't do as well overall in 8 week courses. I should add that I have an almost 2 year old son and a part time job. How many classes per semester do you honestly suggest is manageable??
  16. Yes, this helps quite a bit! Thank you very much!
  17. Sorry about my previous post. Not sure how to delete it! Has anyone taken any 8 week or condensed online Pre SLP courses? I know of ENMU's program. Just wondering if there are any others out there...
  18. So you're taking (3) 8 week courses at once from ENMU plus 1 traditional class? Do you think taking (2) 8 week courses is fairly manageable? I have a 2 y/o son and a business that I run part time.
  19. Thanks for your tips. Perhaps I'll check out the 16 week courses...
  20. Are you enjoying ENMU?? I just checked out the website and looks like there are 8 wk vs. 16 wk class options online. Which are you taking? Thoughts?
  21. Anyone take leveling courses from more than one school at the same time or right after one another? In particular, distance learning (online) classes?
  22. Don't know why I wrote State. Must have been thinking about Utah State. Congrats and best of luck down the road!!
