Fingers are crossed. I truly believe I am qualified for one of those thirty to forty spots in the program. So I am not too anxious. Positive thinking hahah Are we thinking Tuesday or Wednesday for Masters decisions?

Nah... Truth be told, it's HGSE or bust. I mentioned my situtation earlier, but I don't want to get too specific. I am currently interning with the Exec. Producer of a show on Discovery Channel. I actually moved to the east coast by myself for the position. Last week, I was offered a job on the show immediately after I finish up my internship. So, I have to weigh my option carefully now. HGSE is the only reason I would decline the job offer. I am not quite sure why I applied to NYU and Stanford...

I love it hahah I posted on my Facebook that I was anxious about my HGSE decision. One of my recommenders, an HGSE alumna, commented and told me to stop worrying because I was going to be accepted. I think it made it worse hahah As if waiting for graduate school wasn't unbearable enough, I received this message last night.... "Dear Eric, Thank you for your patience regarding our late notification deadlines. You are receiving this message because your film, Cast Off, has made it to the final round of competition and at this time is still being considered for the 2012 Nashville Film Featival. We are trying to fit in as many of your films into this year's programming as possible. " More waiting! Noooooooooooo!

Admissions process is fraustrating. You definitely seem qualified. I think my letters of recommendations and leadership roles in educational technology were the strongest parts of my applications. I spearheaded the development of an eTutoring platform for undergraduate students at my university. We reach about 16,000 people. I have three other relevant experiences in educational technology, but I feel like starting the eTutoring platform was my hook. Technology, Innovation and Education at HGSE is my number one choice. So I hope I will get accepted.

I completely bombed my GRE. So, I don't know to what degree they have factor in test scores. Did you apply to HGSE?

Acceptance dates for the HGSE masters programs from previous years: Tuesday March 8, 2011 Tuesday March 9, 2010 Friday March 13, 2009 Friday March 14, 2008 If I was a betting man, I would put money on hearing back Tuesday, March 6th.
