  1. Same here! Luckily we only have a few more days to wait.
  2. I agree with jpiccolo - it really depends on the school. I've also been wait listed at 2 schools so far. I went to a grad student panel at a conference recently and someone mentioned that they knew someone who got wait listed at 4 schools, and ended up getting into all of them, so definitely don't give up hope. I would e-mail them and ask if you can figure out which spot you are on the wait list. They might tell you and they might not, but it never hurts to ask. I e-mailed one of my schools and asked, and I was told that I was in the top "quadrant" of the wait list. If they're able to tell you, this might put your mind at ease a bit. Good luck!
  3. This isn't a rejection, but I still thought it was funny. Someone got waitlisted to UW-Eau Claire's SLP grad program and wrote "Because you know I'm all about that wait, bout that wait, no admit."
  4. Thanks @cosmicmorgan! Yeah, next week is definitely going to be a long week! Good luck to you too
  5. Just kidding, it looks like they've started sending them out as there's one acceptance on the results page. Looks like it's time to obsessively check my mailbox!
  6. Does anyone have an idea of when UW-Eau Claire will be sending out letters? Last year it looks like they sent them out first week of March. I'm getting anxious.
  7. Hey y'all! Anyone have more information on CSU? It's one of my top choices and looking for more info on when they send out decisions. After some major digging on the results search it looks like they haven't notified anyone until early April...that's sooooo late! I'm hoping they will make decisions earlier this year. Any insight would be most appreciated!!
  8. Hi everyone! I've applied to UW-Milwaukee, UW-Whitewater, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Eau Claire. I know last year EC sent out their acceptance letters during the first week of March so I'm hoping to hear from them soon! The e-mail I got from Whitewater concerning the GA application said they would be sending out decisions on March 13th/16th. I don't know how much longer I can wait!!! Good luck to everyone!!!
  9. I was actually wondering the same thing. I applied to St. Cloud State University, but didn't get an interview. Their interviews are this Friday and they usually send out decisions a few days after so I guess I'll find out soon. I did end up e-mailing to see what spot I am on the wait list...hopefully they'll be able to tell me. It would make the waiting much less stressful.
  10. Hi everyone! I got wait listed at one of my top schools today. I'm sure many of you are in the same boat. While I'm thrilled that it's not a rejection, I'm finding myself already struggling with the wait and it's only been a few hours!! What are everyone's thoughts about contacting a school to see what spot you are on the wait list? I know some schools won't tell you, and some don't even rank the people on their wait list until after April 15th, but it would be nice to hear about peoples' opinions and past experiences to help pass the time.
  11. You're not the only one who made a document with when schools sent out decisions last year!!! I've also been obsessively checking the results search for each of my schools even though I know for a fact nothing will be going out for at least a week. You guys aren't the only crazy ones.
  12. I agree! Unless you find that it's affecting your performance in your other, in-major classwork, definitely stick with it.
  13. I'm also wondering this - mostly Cleveland State. I am an out-of-state applicant (I live in Wisconsin) and really have no idea how competitive it is.
