ArtStarMaker, re: Cornell funding - it's 5,000k a year (3,500 tuition + 1,500 health care) and you get approx. 10-11k from TA-ing a year (changes depending on funding).
I live in SF, CCA is a great school, but class sizes (like one incoming class) are huge - 80+ and it feels a bit like a factory. If offered the same funding at CalArts, I'd go there. Much stronger fine art reputation. CCA is better for makers/fineart-design crossovers.
