There are two competition dates for the Michael Smith--and one is coming up in June. I wouldn't read much into this. We're in the system & so we have the form available to us.

Yeah--I have that too if I click on "create new form" -- Not sure what that means...

My guess is that it's going to be at least another 2 weeks before we know. Also, at least at my Uni, the students will know before the department. (At least, this what I've been told--and what happened last year.)

So, we're getting close to April. I'm wondering if our results will be delayed as it seems as though the Post Doc ones were this year. I know, different competitions... That being said ... as it takes so bloody long from submission to results I feel oddly disconnected from the whole thing!

My uni emailed me in Dec. to let me know that I would be forwarded and gave me an opportunity to update the contributions section (which was nice, as I had a conference to add). Then my uni let me know in Jan. and I heard from SSHRC giving me, as noted above by Logik, an application number. Good luck, Beals. I've heard it's a different process with direct applicants. They may be just going through the Uni-affiliated applications first.

I'm through the university. It's a tough wait!

Yeah, I found out late December (just before Christmas, I think) that I'm being forwarded. I'm not sure that's such a big deal, though?
