Guys at the bottom of the "congratulations letter" there is a second notification/post. There was the info of funding for me, I got 25k!!

Maybe they release decisions in the order in which they received the applications? I sent mine with one hour to go.

Accepted!! No info on funding though...

No funding... but i still want to go. However, they said i have to fullfill the experience prerequisite and i dont think i should. I have over 3 years of real life work experience on the development sector.

Yeah and before that they had tweeted that they would probably release decisions on March 10th. Im super excited and anxious over this week. Do you realize this is almost it? No more waiting or suffering? There have been several students from Harris that have shared their experience and their views tend more to the negative side. Some of them have even described Harris as a milk cow for Chicago. I honestly dont know what to think, while researching it seemed like a perfect fit for me and the admissions team has been so kind.

It was kind of mean for Berkeley to keep us waiting and especulating this way. Ill only forgive them if admitted Lets hope the remaining decisions are sent early today. Ill freak out more if they send them after 5. As for the percentage of admitted students I think it should be around the same number of HKS. However I believe Berkeley searches for very different profiles. Good luck!!

They just send an email... i cant see it in the phone OMG... im in!!

I asked something about my transcripts about 2 weeks ago and they let slipped that admissions would be released on march 6th. seriously, Im checking my email every 5 minutes :S My hopes for wagner are prety low but #fingerscrossed Good luck to everyone!!

@handiya My email said this: "As mentioned in your admission letter, adequate preparation for required courses in microeconomics and statistics is crucial to success at Sanford. We are writing to let you know that we are not placing any coursework conditions on your admission; however, many students choose to take a refresher course (free online options listed below) prior to the mandatory online placement exams in late July. Our students have found these courses to be a helpful foundation for their studies at Sanford." @MJA87 From what I've understood after talking with a pair of Duke students, if you do well on the placement exams you could take a more advanced version of several courses. I wouldn't worry too much but if you are interested in quantitative methods for impact evaluation (as I am), I guess you should study a little bit before the exams just to make sure you'll have no problem in taking the classes you wish.

@ajak568 I received the email as well but the tittle was "No coursework conditions". Reading it through, it seems they only suggested some courses online so you have the opportunity of reviewing the subjects.

My impression of Duke has changed a lot. Im very impressed with the different profiles Ive read on the facebook group of admits. Im honestly thorned... dont know what im going to decide... as some of you previously stated, i guess ill make the decission based on funding.

I found a new entry in Goldman's Admissions Blog: "We've received many inquiries about the status of MPP admissions decisions. Please sit tight! The Admissions Committee is finalizing decisions and we'll be sending letters soon." Talk about suspense...

Hi!! Berkeley is my top choice because it was the program to which my interests fitted the most while researching the schools I applied to (I guess I could be entirely wrong but it was my perspective at the moment). My main interests are educational policy and impact evaluation methods; the faculty and the research centers seem alligned to these interests. Also, the curriculum seems to me pretty liberal and flexible. The only thing that would "worry" me if I was fortunate enough to be admitted would be the power of its network outside the US (I'm an international student). The last time I checked the Goldman Admissions Blog, it didn't say anything about a possible date for admissions/rejections. I really hope for a result next monday. Thanks @arbitist!! Seriously, I've only read good things about CIPA. It makes me wonder why it isn't considered by many people. I was accepted into Duke too and I searched on the forum for threads that commented on the differences between the programs. I noticed that you were in a similar position last year and I was wondering if you could share the main reasons why you chose Cornell over Duke. So far, the opportunity of doing an internship at the UN has put CIPA a little bit ahead of Duke for me. Thanks again!!

@Xperto I got 17 views... I guess 3-5 might be mine. On a video for NYU, I have 5 views. As brmoran said, I don't think much can be said about the number of views the video has. I'm not even sure that the video is really that relevant to your overall application but I could be wrong of course.

Hi @arbitist!! I'm considering CIPA very seriously (the admissions team has been incredible) but I have some questions about the program. a) How quantitative do you consider the program to be? (I'm particularly interested in impact evaluation) Where are you going to do your internship or where did you do it? Are there good options on the DC - NY area? c) How would you grade the networking of CIPA? d) How closely do you work with the Professor who is assigned to you as a mentor? Thanks!!

divertan and ajak, It was only till 2 days ago that i started to freak out with what Early March meant. I hadnt realize that next week is the first week of march... Anyway, today im going to start running at night because my anxiety is keeping me awake. Good luck to everybody!!
