Is this mentioned on their website? If it is a fact then they should put it out there so that people with a GPA below 3.7 don't waste their time applying there. Just saying.
My GPA is 8.8/10. I don't know how they evaluate GPA's that are on a scale of 10.
@ARJS That's not the baseline but rather the average GPA of admitted students in EE. It simply means that some admitted students have a GPA less than this average and some are above it.
Does anyone have any idea about how KAUST treats GPA's that are on a scale of 10 instead of 4? Do they use some conversion formula or simply consider the applications on a case-by-case basis? My CGPA is 8.8/10
I don't care if they select or reject me; I just want them to inform me about their decision as soon as possible. I am really terrible at this waiting business.
I've applied to the MS in Electrical Power Engineering program at RWTH Aachen and the SENSE & RENE programs through the KIC InnoEnergy initiative (my uni preference has been KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm). If I'm granted an admit at both which one should I choose given that my intended career path is research oriented. I know I'm speaking in advance but it could serve as a future reference as well. Thank you for your time.
Best regards.
