My aim currently, is not for a PhD, but rather a masters degree and then it actually depends, if my passion still wants me to continue studying it . u say PhD is good at stony brook. What bout masters? and also in ur experience, any other suggestions?

Could some1 please suggest the good universities in the U.S for getting masters degree specializing in semiconductor? I am trying to make a good list (really good uni and a few safe options) of colleges to send to. the only college i have found out till now is SUNY albany and stony brook. As these are in New york, i predict the living expenses will be quite high!. a few suggestions ppl?

Is SUNY stony brook very difficult to get into for masters? does it require an exceptionally high GRE score?

thank you for that. what i would like to know is information from someone with personal experience. Someone studying in a college related to ths topic, will have a good idea of the colleges that are excellent.

i am planning to do masters in electrical engineering specifically semiconductors. I dont know what is a way to find a college that is good in teaching that specifically (please dont say ivy league colleges ). I am trying to find colleges which are not very difficult to get in. Can any1 tell me the good colleges for that or any way to find the right college?
