Congrats! I'll be attending LIU Post in the fall also. I am from NYC and plan on commuting the first semester. LIU is located in a pretty nice area, but you will def need a car. It's hard to get around on LI without one. I will likely have a 45 min drive from where I live now. Looking forward to meeting you, let me know when you commit and if you've started an FB group! Although I am still waiting on a few schools (not hopeful) I am on the same boat as you. 6 wait lists and over a dozen rejections!

Same here, I called LIU this morning. They said my application was still pending, the reason I received that email was because I included them on my FAFSA application. Fingers crossed for both of us still... I have gotten nothing but over a dozen rejection and a couple of wait-lists so far.

I received a similar email from LIU Post last night but have yet to hear from their admissions office. I'm confused, calling them today.

I am also on 4 wait-lists, have 2 schools that I interviewed with to hear back from and about 8 others. Really hoping for an acceptance. Good luck to you!

At least you have options (still waiting on an acceptance), as little debt as possible is the way to go though... Good luck with your decision.

Hang in there no news is better than bad news. I am at 14 rejections, 3 wait-lists, waiting on 10 more (2 of which I have interviewed with) to get back to me. This process is the worst! Good luck to you!

It really sucks, I am still waiting on about 15 schools or so but hope is diminishing. My stats are very similar to yours. This program is too competitive!

Same here! I have a coworker who was going through this process with Law School at the same time as I with speech and I swear it is so much easier to get into law school! 1 Acceptance is all I need though, although I would really like to stay in NY I will go anywhere. I applied all over also. I got rejected from NYU, didnt get called for an interview at NYMC or Molloy so I am assuming those are automatic rejections. I interviewed at LIU Post last week and I saw that someone got accepted today on the results page. Have you heard back from them? Besides those schools, I applied to Adelphi also and have not heard back, Columbia, Hofstra, Touro, IONA (interview next week), Fredonia (SUNY) and most of my other schools are out of state, e.g. Loyola, Emerson, Longwood, Marshall (wait-listed), Northwestern and a few others. I sort of applied based on how many apply to each school and how many offers they make. Starting to feel that was probably not a good route to go about it.
