I hope so. I already had to start sending some of my grad school apps since they are due soon although I still dont even know if there is any point in doing so since if i dont get the scholarship there is no way i can fund my studies.

But arent you already in Germany Caelryck? and working as a TA? Couldn't you still assist the Masters that you already got accepted into and find a TA job there to finance it?

Hey Caelryck, At least you are over in Europe...that would be so interesting...I'm still over in New Hampshire, Murica....working in Finance....ugh so boring. My job is so dull and not mentally stimulating...any monkey could do it...I just took it because the job market was really tough when I graduated...and as for doing a Masters here in the U.S: 1)I find Europe much more interesting 2) I cant really afford to rack up anymore student loan on top of the one i already have from undergrad (Murican higher education system is broken, I mean 55,000 per year...how is that ok?)

Lol Caelryck I know what you mean...been on this forum nonstop since i found it...gonna be so depressed if i dont get this scholarship as my current job is so not my passion. I would rather go explore Europe and be intellectually stimulated by University than sit at a desk doing a dreadfully boring job...too bad I cant afford doing this study journey without the scholarship

I know this post is old but I applied to the DAAD study scholarship for this upcoming fall Master programs and I was wondering if those who were succesful in recieving this scholarship could share what their general profile was as a student. Were you all amazing and genius? Just trying to figure out what my chances are. Thanks in advance.

Wow according to the DAAD website, the results won't be announced until mid April....thats a loooong wait still

Also I am pretty sure my chances of getting this scholarship are rather slim....I have a 3.3 GPA only. I graduated with a BA in Economics from Boston College...

Hello Guys, I applied for the Study scholarship as well (DAAD North America). I am hoping to attend either Mannheim Uni, LMU, Freiburg Uni.I submitted my application as soon as the application window opened so It feels like I have waited 50 years for this damn decision. I really hope I get it ((((....Has anyone else gotten their decision letter?
