I'd just like to quickly weigh in with my experience. My GRE scores were not great, both in the low 600s. I got into Duke GPR and was waitlisted at Harvard (and I am waiting on one more). My impression is that a good GRE is a bonus to a good application, but a bad GRE won't sink you.

I didn't see that before, but yes, you're right: it does say that "accepted candidates" will be notified by Feb. 15. I applied two years ago and didn't hear anything for several days after the 15th. I finally had to email them--like Feb. 18 or 19--and they emailed me back to say I was near the top of the waiting list. So yes, maybe alternate and rejected applicants will have to wait. Seems cruel?

Has anyone applied for the Peggy Guggenheim internship for the 2010 season? Has anyone heard yet? Their website says we will be notified by email "by February 15" but now the sun has set in Italy and it doesn't seem like today will be the day.
