  1. I've accepted at Baylor (NT). Sic' em!
  2. I've been told that Lindsey accepted in NT. That's all I've heard as far as acceptances go.
  3. Sweet! I may be down in Waco with you (I'm still waiting on the wait list at Duke).
  4. MTS or MAR are your best options for a non-ministry degree. If you want to work in a seminary/div school later on an MDiv is good to have, but otherwise MTS or MAR is all you need. It all depends on what you want to do. Hope that helps.
  5. I'm in the same position at Duke. It makes you want to scream!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! Somehow, that didn't make me feel any better...
  6. Congratulations! SMU has a great program! Best of luck to you!
  7. That would be fascinating indeed! Unfortunately, there are probably tons more programs that have the 700 cut off that those who would have faculty member take the cursed test...
  8. I would definitely retake the GRE until you break 700 for both the Quantitative and Verbal. The GRE won't get you in, but it can definitely keep you out. PLUS, it can add upwards of $6,000 per year to your stipend depending on the program. I GRE is a bear. I took it three grueling times. But, on the other side of the application process (well, almost on the other side), I can say that taking the test multiple times was the best decision I could have made. Without doing so, I would not be in the position that I am currently in. I am certain of that. Hope this helps... Mike
  9. Congratulations! Naturally, I hope you get a better offer than Duke (so I can move up on the list!). I only have your very best in mind.
