  1. Same! I submitted my application September 28th. I keep checking the online portal, but obviously, nothing has changed. The wait is really so nerve-racking haha . I know UCF is rolling admissions, so I'm not sure how many applications they typically receive for Spring.
  2. I'm wondering the same! I heard by late November/Thanksgiving, we should know, but I'm not sure how decisions are sent out (all at once, etc). When did you submit your application? It took like 10 days for my application to be processed at the graduate admissions office there.
  3. Thank you! I'll let you know how it goes. Have you received any decision from Lehman about your application?
  4. Thank you! I just got the e-mail, and my date is 11/6 at 10a.m!
  5. I'm so nervous too, especially because I've never had a grad school interview before, and this is the first time I'm ever applying to grad school. I got the same e-mail as you with the notification of the interview date within the next week or 2, so I will definitely let you know. & I've heard that Lehman tends to ask course content questions, like the 5 subsets of language, so I'll be sure to know that. I'll also try and review some basic anatomy and physiology/cranial nerves, and my professors said a lot of interviews ask about the differences between articulation and phonology (which I'm learning about now), so I'll try to become pretty competent in those areas, and just general questions-why I want to go to Lehman, populations I would like to work with/acquire more experience with, etc; but I'm really unsure of what to expect...what about you?
  6. I got the e-mail on Friday (10/16) from Lehman to come for an interview too!
  7. That's good to know that they let you know fairly soon afterwards; thank you for letting me know! I'm from NY, and I applied to some out-of-state schools too, so I've been wondering when I'll receive all of my final decisions with the shorter time frame for spring admission; hopefully before Thanksgiving, haha.
  8. Wow! After the interview then, how long did you, personally, wait to receive a decision?
  9. When you interviewed the first time for spring at Lehman, do you remember when in October you heard from them? I'm guessing it was earlier than now?
  10. Interesting! For which application season(s) have you interviewed for Lehman before, spring and/or fall?
  11. I didn't know they have two dates for interviews; that's good to know! I know some grad schools interview over the span of a week or 2, so I assumed Lehman was like that too, but apparently, it's not.
  12. Agreed! Maybe by the end of this week if you don't hear anything, you can call the department chair, and see if they have any updates on your application? I also applied to St. John's University for the spring, and I saw that people started getting acceptance e-mails this past Friday, and I'm hoping I'll get my decision sometime this week from them too...this wait is just so nerve-racking and stressful. It's hard to not think about it, lol...

  14. They're probably still going through the applications then, especially since ours were both completed closer to the deadline then. I didn't get my e-mail yesterday until like 2 p.m, which is later in the day too. I got an e-mail from the Graduate Admissions office that there was a decision on my application posted online, and then that's how I found out; so just make sure to check your online portal once in a while to see if a decision is listed too.
  15. I submitted mine September 28th (3 days before the deadline). What about you?
  16. You might hear within the next two weeks if you get an interview because they're not starting to release the official interview dates and times for another two weeks, according to the e-mail I received! They're probably still going through all of the applications too. I was honestly really surprised to get an interview...I thought it was an e-mail telling me I was already rejected...
  17. I just got an invite today for an interview at Lehman! It's so nerve-racking, but I'm super excited too.
  18. I just got an e-mail from CUNY Lehman to interview in a few weeks! so excited; I can't believe it!
  19. I also applied to Lehman, but I have not received any response from them (I checked my online application status too of a rejection, etc). Congrats on getting an interview though, and good luck!!
  20. Has anyone else applied to St. John's University for Spring 2016, and know when they'll begin sending out admission decisions?
  21. I applied to University of Central Florida too, and I didn't see on their website that they do interviews, but I could be wrong. I'm also from NY, and have lived here all of my life, so I understand all of the emotions surrounding applying to distant schools; good luck
  22. Same to you! Thank you . Do you know when Lehman begins asking applicants to come for interviews, if selected? I know they require an interview for applicants they like, but I'm not sure when they begin to send decisions out; if it's this month, or next month, etc?
  23. Hi, everyone! I'm also applying for Spring 2016 admission because I'm graduating a semester early this December. I have 4 applications due October 1, and 1 due October 15. I'm just waiting on one of my professors to upload her recommendation letter, which is why I haven't submitted my applications yet. I'm applying to St. John's University, CUNY Lehman, University of Rhode Island, University of Central Florida, and Kansas State University .
