  1. Same here, no merit scholarship for me, waiting on need based??
  2. Does anyone know the last day for us to accept? i guess we need to know the financial situation before we can decide?
  3. I think we all have to decide if we are going to accept before we get a group together and meet, I am going to wait for the financial aid before I decide. Sorry, I forgot that a lot of people have multiple acceptances.
  4. I think everyone who wants to meet up as a group so we can all stay connected private message your name and email to me and then we can all connect. I think this will be easier!
  5. Congrats to everyone who got accepted. I have been accepted to IEP program. Would like to connect everyone who got accepted, since we all started our journey together on this forum,we should all stay connected and meet in person so that we can all stay connected during our year at Harvard. I know Heather is in my program, and there are a few more, someone from UAE got into special studies. Let us all send our contact info through personal messages. For all who did not get in,do not feel bad,try next year. There have been plenty of candidates who got in after being rejected. Look forward to connecting with people from all over the world who have been accepted.
  6. @ Heather: Great to know you are also applying for IEP program, we should stay in touch and hopefully we both will get in I did my FAFSA also and it was processed. I put in the code for hgse. How do you check if hgse financial aid website says received or not?? Is there a hgse financial aid website we have to go on and fill something out??
  7. I also received the application complete email. No financial aid email as yet. Any IEP applicants here??
  8. Just wondering if anyone knows when do we fill out the online HGSE financial aid application. The website states that HGSE will contact us, has anyone received an email from financial aid? Also should I fill out my FAFSA now?? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
  9. Thank you everyone for taking out the time to reply. For my peace of mind,I will email admissions and tell them about it and let them tell me what I should do. I think by doing so it shows I noticed it, lets see what they say.
  10. Hello everyone: I noticed I had a typo in one of the answers to a question on the application, after I hit submit button. I typed "tool" instead of "took" so just wondering if that is such a big deal?? I could email HGSE admissions and tell them about this typo and request them to correct it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I checked my SOP and other essays, no typo's in them. Thank you
  11. Hello everyone: I noticed I had a typo in one of the answers to a question on the application, after I hit submit button. The question about interruptions in your education, I typed "tool" instead of "took" so just wondering if that is such a big deal?? I could email HGSE admissions and tell them about this typo and request them to correct it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I checked my SOP and other essays, no typo's in them. Thank you
  12. Based on what I have read so far,SOP is the main thing. You said you have a solid SOP (don't know what is a solid SOP) and good GPA etc you should be in good shape. With a 50% acceptance rate you need not worry. GRE is only part of the profile and they cannot judge your whole candidacy on a 3 hr test, AWA and verbal is what they care a little about.
  13. Hello everyone ! I plan on applying for Ed.M program at HGSE for fall 2016 acceptance. Taking my GRE's on 30th. I looked up acceptance rates for HGSE on Peterson's: The link is below: HGSE It says 50% accepted. Any thoughts??
