  1. I ended up accepting USC's offer - couldn't go past the curriculum.
  2. I'll PM you so we don't have our own convo amongst the group thread
  3. @Cat_Robutt it's a bit of a dilemma, really. I was in the US last year for 2 months. I didn't enjoy being in LA, however, USC has the better program (as well as being a part of the Annenberg). Whereas I loved NY and could see myself living there, but the programs there don't seem of the same calibre as USC's. But being NY and the centre of Communications, I'm wondering if that makes up for it? What are your thoughts?
  4. Thanks! Still waiting to hear from one more program and then decision time :S
  5. Just received acceptance from USC!! YAYY!! No word on funding though Anyone know how long after they let people know about it?
  6. Joining in the anxiety pool!
  7. Hey there, In terms of your question, I can't be of any help. But I'm applying for PR programs too. Nice to find someone else on here applying for similar programs!
  8. I had my interview with USC over a month ago. International students were asked to submit applications a month earlier than domestic applicants, so it's been a long wait for me! Hoping to hear something back next week since it would have been 6 weeks since the domestic application deadline and based on previous years' results release.
  9. Thanks Such good news to hear on a Friday morning .:woopwoop:. TGIF!!!
  10. No word from USC yet. But I got accepted into NYU today! My first acceptance, feels good
  11. 1977?! Wow. No words. How many people do they have entering all this data during busy periods like these? That makes things a little difficult for me. I'm ahead of LA by 16 hours and international phone rates are pricey, especially when people put you on hold. Thanks for the info though, I'll get on to it.
  12. At least that's a positive! I feel so much better about my application now - thanks! I don't know whether to resend or not. I sent my transcripts mid December so I understand mail processing would have been slow being the Christmas and New Year period and USC was closed between the Dec 25 and Jan 3. But the email said it would take 8 - 10 business days to process the documents, but then 12 - 14 business days for it to show up in the system?!?! Maybe I should just get it couriered...
