Hey guys! I know this is WAAAY off topic, but I'm really interested in Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, so I was just wondering what is taught at Canadian public schools. I am from Mexico, which is pretty conservative, and sex ed is basically non-existent. And if there's a way I can get hold of the books you use, that would be great! Thank you.

I'm hopefully moving there too this summer/fall to do a Master's degree. Lund offers application for University Housing, but I think I'll look for a place somewhere else since I don't want to live on campus. Perhaps Malmö or another town nearby!

I got accepted into a university in Europe and now I may not go because of their high tuition fees and due to the fact that my government (I'm from Mexico) likes giving hell to people who want to keep preparing themselves and help people somehow. It's heartbreaking that after so much effort sometimes dream don't come true. Sorry if I'm venting, I'm just sad.

Oh my... Didn't expect U of T to start sending e-mails until May. My application still says "under review".

So, I have been accepted to Lund University in Sweden (MPH programme). I will be accepting that and I will decline U of T if it comes to it. Good luck to everyone!

Anyone heard from U of T (Health Promotion stream)?

Congratulations! Big programs. I'm not an expert in either of them, but forget the prestige. Both are great with that. It really depends on how you want to approach health. Harvard's program is very anthropological. You will see a lot of social theories. Whereas JHP is a little bit more practical. In terms of US PH schools I don't think Harvard is even top 3 anymore while JHP is number one.

I applied to U of T (Health Promotion stream) and I haven't heard from them, but I don't think anyone has. I'm pretty sure I won't make it though since I'm an international student and I think my application is weak. I also applied to Lund University (in Sweden) and they announce results March 29th, so here's hoping I make it there!

Aw, don't give up! We're the future PH practitioners and we mustn't succumb to this. SO nice of you to still tell people to check despite you not making it. It speaks volumes of you and it is precisely what this field needs!

Well, I probably won't make the cut, but it doesn't hurt to apply. I think, lol. I'm applying to an MPH in Melbourne University and an MPH in Lund University. I'm only applying to those 3. I'm considering a fourth, but so far I haven't found one as interesting as those. (I completely ruled out the US). Where are you applying?
