Hi! I'm applying to history of medicine phd programs. Almost all the deadlines have passed (except Hopkins which is in a few days), so you're a little late for this cycle, but I would recommend looking at the University of Minnesota for a masters. The other programs I applied to only offered phds.

Thanks CvC1780! I just got an email from a POI telling me that she would be in touch "as soon as she knew anything." So I'm expecting an email either this week or next week (YIKES), since she indicated that the review process would begin soon. I am out of town on a research grant, so I'm gonna take your advice and throw myself into my thesis work. I recently purchased a coloring book, and it has actually helped tremendously (if anyone else is looking for stress relief) LOL.

Hi all! I thought I would introduce myself: I am a senior in college, applying to phd programs that are focused on the history of medicine (with a few regular history programs thrown in there). I am currently writing my thesis on Victorian psychiatric practices and the ways in which they were gendered/racialized/classed in Britain and the colonies. Mostly, though, I am writing because I have an overwhelming amount of application anxiety! Is anyone else checking their email a thousand times a day? I feel like I am constantly on pins and needles! I can't wait for results (even if they aren't great).
