I talked to Carol , I didn't make the shortlist, so I'm guessing I not getting in. The faculty there (George Legrady) has ties to tech and art. They also at the MAT program but since I am still learning how to code I am not up to par with their standards, yet. My work has been steering more and more into Technology base Art which is why I thought I would be a great fit. But the more I think, I might want to try and broaden my horizon and go for their MAT program, its a Master of Science rather than an MFA. We shall see what the future hold! I did visit the campus , I met with Carol but not with any faculty. Best of Luck!

Francis Stark is gone, and once Charlie White stepped down as Chair, trouble was brewing. The program itself has been practically dismantle there is a long interview with those artist and also the MFA students that dropped out. There was also a BFA exhibition where they apperantly also suffered from all of this. It sucks but it also brings up the point of a model where you get charged a lot for a degree that pays so little most of the time.

Anybody heard from UCSB yet?

Yeah, I really want to get into UCSB their program and funding is awesome. Especially for what I want to do, I'm hoping I hear back soon. Ive seen people said that they let you know pretty quickly if you're in.
