I just got the email saying I've been accepted! The webportal hasn't updated to show this though.

I decided to start this thread because 1. I haven't seen many people talk about SDSU and 2. I'm getting very anxious about my decision coming in lol. I submitted my application October 31st and I think my GRE scores were posted about a week after that. I know that yesterday was the cut off date to submit test scores and transcripts so I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything. My stats Social work major & psych minor (will graduate spring 2017) GPA: 4.0 GRE: 4.5 2 internships and about 700 hours or social services work.

I have a friend who submitted her app last week of November and she just for an email saying her application is "pending".

I know of someone who already got their CSULB acceptance. He submitted his application in October

I was a member of a community service club in college and have the same issue. I'm planning on labeling my "title" as general volunteer and listing some of the events I've done. For counting my hours, I'm counting them by month. So I'm putting 10 hours a month for ~3 years. Hope this helps!

I'm applying to SDSU and CSULB. I'm a BSW student at CSULB right now. I originally wasn't planning on applying to Long Beach but my professors have convinced me lol. My GPA is great and my recommendations are pretty solid. Just worried that my experience won't be enough since I only have my field experience.

I'm a BSW student planning to apply to advanced standing MSW programs. My top choice program requires applicants to have a minimum of 500 hours in volunteer, internship, and/or paid human services experience, By the time I graduate I will have completed 450 hours of fieldwork and 80 hours of practicum at an agency. Can I make my practicum hours count toward human services experience? Has anyone else used a similar job shadow type of experience to count as human services hours?
